Ancient Greece

Ancient Greece.

Ancestors of philosophy and science.

Source of the Elixir of Life, Ambrosia, and the search for immortality and eternal youth.

Origin of medicine, pharmaceuticals, and Sideritis which Dioscorides and Theophrastus used to treat iron wounds.

The   Beginning

The ancient Greeks were obsessed with eternal youth and immortal life.

In their myths, poetry, and philosophy, they devoted considerable thought to the desire to stay young and live forever. To somehow possess ageless immortality like the gods would be the ultimate achievement in a quest for life itself.

Perhaps they did not fulfill this quest. But those who followed in their footsteps dared to dream, and valuable knowledge was passed down through countless generations of close-knitted families and clans.

Modern Times

A Remote  Village
in Greece

A secluded and reclusive mountainous village. The lifespan is 9 years longer than the national average. Older adults look at least 10 years younger. People in their 70's and 80's still work on their farms. With a personal connection to this village, we are entrusted with their values, their knowledge ... and their secrets.

It is this knowledge that is the foundation of the services offered by Puuritea to our valuable members.
